Šímová, Lenka ; Reckziegelová, Petra (advisor) ; Štěpánková, Šárka (referee)
Title: Case study of the Physiotherapeutic Treatment of a Patient Diagnosed with Nervus Peroneus Paresis Aims: Acquisiting theoretical and practical knowledge of peripehral paresis, especially the peripheral paresis of nervus petroneus, followed-up by elaborating a casuistry of a patient diagnosed with a selected diagnosis created over the duration of practical training. Methodology: The general part of this bachelor thesis contains theoretical findings about anatomy of the peripheral nervous system, peripheral paresis clinical image, treatment and follow-up therapy. The special part contains a description of selected physioterapeutic methods in practice. Results: Reduction of a degree of shortening of selected muscles, elimination of reflexive mutations of soft tissues, renewal of joint play and strength enhancement of selected weakened muscles. Conclusion: Physiotheraphy is an integral part of peripheral paresis treatment. Key words: physiotherapy, neurology, paresis, peroneus, rehabilitation
A Case Study of Physiotherapeutic Care of a Patient with Diagnosis of Common Peroneal Nerve Palsy
Hunčovský, Tomáš ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Reckziegelová, Petra (referee)
Title: A Case Study of Physiotherapeutic Care of a Patient with Diagnosis of Common Peroneal Nerve Palsy. Objectives: A summary of existing theoretical findings concerning peripheral nerve palsies, especially common peroneal nerve palsy, and their application in practice of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with the stated diagnosis. Methods: The present bachelor thesis consists of two parts. The general part describes the anatomy of nervous system and the patophysiology of peripheral nervous system including the key processes of examination and the most important methods of physiotherapeutic care used for diagnosis and therapy of peripheral nerve palsies. A special part is dedicated to a case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with diagnosis of common peroneal nerve palsy and includes an entry kinesiological examination, a rehabilitation plan, a description of particular therapies and a final kinesiological examination having for purpose to assess the therapeutical effect. Results: An increase of joint mobility extent, a dicrease of sensitive disorder, motor manifestations of deep peroneal nerve reinnervation, a positive impact on swelling absorption, a partial renewal of joint play, an increase of muscular strenght of weakened muscles and an increase of flexibility of shortened muscle...
